Prepare your rollout with a clear scope
Agree which process you will use, who validates it and what each role needs to learn before loading data.

A process with responsibilities
1. Define the first process
Choose a representative service and a verifiable outcome. Include an absence, issue, correction or return.
2. Validate the data
Assign owners to people, sites, customers, documents and resources. Resolve duplicates and test a sample; formats and sources must be confirmed.
3. Define roles and criteria
Decide who assigns, performs, reviews and views. Check permitted and restricted access. Agree what closing a service means.
4. Rehearse with users
Walk through a case with sample data. Review devices, connectivity and errors. Prepare instructions by role.
5. Expand after review
Compare the record with expectations and correct discrepancies. Timing, migration, training and assistance are specified in the proposal; there is no universal timeframe.
